The FOUND in LOS ANGELES exhibition from Fine Artist Ron Barbagallo was on display at the ArcLight Hollywood from May 15 - June 26, 2014. Barbagallo pulls the streets of LA into the right into the exhibition space by way of taking elements FOUND outside the ArcLight itself and extending that journey to the sidewalks of Los Feliz, around Downtown LA, to the boardwalk of Venice, the concrete of West Hollywood, and right into the swimming pools of the Hollywood Hills. Using these facets of the city, Barbagallo creates "emotional-landscapes" that evoke the diverse spiral that is LA. A visual tour can be found here: READ MORE

On Permanent Display
at the ArcLight Hollywood

June 26, 2014

CURRENTLY SHOWING at The ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood. After the close of my show, the ArcLight put one of my canvases on permanent display in their first floor lobby. The photograph printed on canvas can be found by the elevators that lead to the second floor. I am told this is the first time in the theater's 12 year history that one of their artists in-residence was given permanent display. Click on this LINK and see where the canvas is located.

The Alumni Office of the School of Visual Arts gave the FOUND in LOS ANGELES exhibition a shout out on their Facebook page. To view their post, please click: HERE
